Postgraduates in Latin American Studies (PILAS), the postgraduate branch of the Society for Latin American Studies (SLAS), invites postgraduate researchers to debate and reflect on Latin America’s place in the world at the PILAS 2015 conference to be held at the University of Cambridge on 23 & 24 June. The conference is free to attend.

The final Conference Programme and Abstracts List are now available for delegates to download, as are maps of the different conference venues that will be used.

We very much hope that PILAS members, conference delegates and any Latin American or film enthusiasts will also be able to join us for our Welcome Event at 6:30pm on Monday 22 June in King's College's Keynes Room. We will be screening acclaimed Mexican documentary Los Herederos (Eugenio Polgovsky, 2008).
